Happy Hour…..where art thou!!!

For those that know us you know we live for happy hour!!! Yes Happy Hour…….Your job can be stressful and what better way to make you smile after a stressful day is a cocktail. I work in Andersonville and there are a few bars that I visit that have become my solace after a rough day. Little Bad Wolf located 1541 W Bryn Mawr has won me over with their Cider Beers.  I had a Lapinette beer by Virtue Cider that was wonderful. It was a dry brut cider that was tart.  It reminded me of champagne without getting the headache. I paired it with thin cut fries and a chipotle sauce. The most memorable thing I had besides the beer was the elotes with beer battered avocado OMG…..it was heaven on a plate. Need a cocktail go on down to Elixir located 1500 W Balmoral. I love a cocktail with fresh herbs and their grapefruit basil martini and rosemary pineapple margarita never disappoints.
